Avoid tax penalties:
The fee for not having coverage in 2015 If you don’t have coverage in 2015, you’ll pay the higher of these two amounts:

• 2% of your yearly household income. (Only the amount of income above the tax filing threshold, about $10,150 for an individual, is used to calculate the penalty.) The maximum penalty is the national average premium for a bronze plan.
• $325 per person for the year ($162.50 per child under 18). The maximum penalty per family using this method is $975.

   
Find affordable healthcare:
Employer coverage is considered affordable - as it relates to the premium tax credit - if the employee’s share of the annual premium for the lowest priced self-only plan is no greater than 9.56% of annual household income. Fill out an application over the phone at (912) 323-8808. We’ll tell you which programs you and your family qualify for. If it looks like anyone is eligible for Medicaid and/or CHIP, we'll let the state agency know so you can enroll. If anyone is eligible to buy a private insurance plan through the Marketplace, we’ll let you know that and tell you your next steps.
